What do you do??? YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH, DUH!!!!!!
Gross analogy maybe but do you already know where I’m going with this?
Hint: Think brushing teeth = healthy eating/exercise habits! You’ve committed and recommitted to brushing daily just to quit hundreds of times over….
You’ve been in a REALLY low and long slump where brushing your teeth just hasn’t been the priority…
You seriously doubt your ability to get all the way to your goal of brushing daily for a full year….
So what do you do??? Where do you start after failing so many times before???
You start simply by starting…… by brushing your teeth. Right now. And committing to brush your teeth again tomorrow.
You may miss a day, but you don’t let it stop you. You brush your teeth as soon as possible after that missed day.
With each new day when faced with the decision to brush or not to brush… you do your best to brush. Day by day…. week by week… And if ever faced with the fact that you’ve fallen off in a bad way and it’s been way too long since your last brushing……. you simply just start again by brushing your teeth.
Who has fallen off their healthy habits in a bad way at any point in time this year?
Why would you let what you did yesterday, or even what you did with your last meal, influence what you do right now?
Let’s stop this madness – let’s brush our teeth and get back to taking care of ourselves!
